This symbolic moment for the youth begins with a protocol ceremony which calls for the strengthening of patriotism. Under the general supervision of Mr. Mounouna Foutsou, Minjec.
After the performance of the national anthem of Cameroon, an attentive ear will be lent to the speech of the Head of State His Excellency Paul Biya.

So their young peers should be inspired by it. The Head of State tells young people that you must “become aware of your role, wherever you are, in projecting Cameroon’s brand image and its influence.”

AFCON mascot: 《Mola》
The appearance of 《Mola》 (in Douala dialect means Friend, brother) recalls the official mascot of CAN 2021 which took place in January and February in Cameroon.
Mola: the friend, the brother, by extension the neighbor with whom we share the same enthusiasm for the time of a match is at the Boulevard du 20 mai. It is a lion, in the colors of Cameroon. Green jersey, red shorts, yellow socks. A very cultural stylistic detail: the sleeves of her outfit in toghu, a fabric from the North-West region.
