Presentation of the context, objectives and methodology of the Workshop
The Inspector General of Curricula and Teaching and Training Methods (IGPMEF), who is also the National Coordinator of PRONEC-REAMORCE,

Dr Moussa oumarou for the Message from the General Coordinator of the Council of Muslim Imams and Dignitaries of Cameroon
“It is with real pleasure that I take the floor on the occasion of this national symposium. I note that a fundamental subject such as PRONEC represents an essential lever within our community. However, our future can only be built with a strong sense of responsibility. I cannot end without imploring GOD, the Almighty, to bless this symposium.
A word from the President of the Council of Protestant Churches in Cameroon
It was delivered by the Reverend Ahmadou Saidou.
He began by welcoming and thanking the audience, and especially MINJEC, for this initiative. He said: “We are very pleased to have received the Minister’s invitation to take part in this symposium, at a time when the government is inviting us to re-market the church to young people. We are very proud and we hope that young people will be the spearhead of the nation, as the Head of State has said”.
This symposium!
Every socio-political, economic and religious entity, whether urban or rural, is calling more than ever, in a context of local governance, for the contribution of tools and weapons corresponding to the new situation, in terms of improving people’s living conditions
This is His Majesty Tsala Ndzomo, President of the National Council of Traditional Chiefs of Cameroon.
GREETINGS TO THE MINISTER! he said.
In a standing ovation, His Majesty Tsala left a lasting impression.
He responded to this symposium by providing an answer to the question: what is the role of traditional chieftaincy in promoting morality in Cameroon?
His answer: traditional chieftaincy is an institution that governs a community. It is characterised by a set of cultural norms. And morality is the set of rules that refer to behaviour manifested by moral values.
How can traditional chieftaincy contribute to morality in our country?
To this question, the place of the family implies the responsibility of young people.
He insisted on respect for parents and elders, a sense of honour, a sense of work, a sense of sharing and leadership.
“To greet an elder you mess up your hair. If you’re sitting down, you stand up and give way to the elder,” said His Majesty Tsala Ndzomo.
“It is with great honour that I take the floor on the occasion of this PRONEC REAMORCE event. MY GREETINGS TO THE HEAD OF STATE.”
The change of mentality cannot bear fruit without your direct involvement. In the same way, the practice of living together and fighting spirit are essential weapons in our process of developing the youth of this society. I would therefore like to thank the distinguished guests for helping us to build an exemplary Republic. We can safely say that young people need idols in terms of civic values, and you, dear participants, are models for these young people.
The school under the tree can be modernised
“As the pillar of our traditions, your role is crucial for an ambitious youth. It is important to know how to behave well in society. I would also like to invite you to join PRONEC, which has been set up by the Government. “
“The 3rd batch of 2025 have already begun their military training in KOUTABA. They will be moulded as they should be. This will be done in conjunction with religious and traditional leaders to pass on civic values, which must be a shared commitment between school, home and society.”
A handshake full of conviviality, joy and rich national diversity
This PRONEC REAMORCE #Symposium
In the context of local governance, every socio-political, economic and religious entity, whether urban or rural, is more than ever in need of tools and weapons that match the new situation in terms of improving people’s living conditions.
The most Value
The aim of this national REAMORCE workshop for leaders of religious denominations and traditional chiefs is to involve the target group in the development process and equip them with new behaviours and skills that are essential for strengthening the civic and civic life of the faithful during homilies and of the population living in the community.

Summary of the symposium announced by Pr Paschal Kum Awah PRONEC-REAMORCE Coordinator
His Majesty Dr Penda Fils of Canton Babimbi 2, who is also Head of the PIFMASS support unit, gave the summary.
The symposium was attended by traditional chiefs, leaders of religious denominations, representatives of civil society organisations and non-governmental organisations, and United Nations agencies. The plenary sessions addressed a number of themes, including: Traditional chieftaincies and religious denominations in the face of contemporary challenges; the contribution of religious and traditional leaders in strengthening civic and entrepreneurial values; the contribution of government players in strengthening civic and entrepreneurial values.
Si SI David, Head of the General Affairs Department at PRONEC-REAMORCE
He read out the recommendations
At the end of the plenary sessions, workshops and group discussions, the participants made the following recommendations:
– The establishment of a collaborative framework bringing together religious denominations, traditional chieftaincies and the Ministry of Youth and Civic Education with a view to implementing the PRONEC-REAMORCE.
– The creation of REAMORCE circles within religious communities (churches and mosques) on the one hand and traditional communities in the form of schools under the tree on the other
– Implementation of the platform to combat violent extremism
– the signature by the Minister of a circular letter requesting the deconcentrated, attached and supervised services to provide their support to traditional chiefs and religious leaders who wish to create REAMORCE circles or schools under the tree.
PRONEC-REAMORCE for a virtuous cause
3 virtues were analysed during this #Symposium:
✨Faith
✨Hope: this force that revives us
✨Love: the charity that opens us to reconciliation and forgiveness. It is this love that allows us to rediscover the gentleness and peace desired and dear to our society today.
According to Father Pr. Thomas Tchoungui, Rector of the Catholic University of Central Africa
An appropriate response to the crisis of values
“To respond to this multidimensional crisis, if we want to get out of it, during this symposium we suggested that we need to go back to rearmament for responsible, honest and spiritual leadership. Leadership that takes into account service and respect for others, whatever their ethnic or religious background. “
Says Reverend Frouissou Samuel, Rector of the Protestant University of Central Africa (UPAC).
Dr Moussa Oumarou, General Coordinator of the Council of Muslim Imams and Dignitaries of Cameroon (CIDICMUC) is represented here by Haba Oumar, Iman of the Essos Mosque.
The merciful God allows us to hope through his mercy, and moral and spiritual rearmament appears to be a solution sent by this merciful God. “Nothing is lost, we have hope that mentalities can change with God’s help. I call on the Sura of Time to support our hopes”.
Spirituality therefore occupies a predominant place in society, because nothing can be done without faith. PRONEC-REAMORCE and spirituality make a good duo.
For Reverend Hamadou Saidou, President of the Council of Protestant Churches of Cameroon (CEPCA)
These tools contained in the PRONEC-REAMORCE can strengthen the church’s initiatives with regard to the faithful. And, combined with the spiritual, this government instrument will help the flock and all those who need it to grow. “Thank you, Minister, for involving us in this process,” he says.
The role of PRONEC-REAMORCE is well understood
These are the words of His Majesty Prof. Guy Tsala Nzomo, President of the National Council of Traditional Chiefs of Cameroon.
Satisfied with the results of the Symposium, he undertook to relay the programmes and projects made available to young people to this section of the population.
The work of supervising populations and young people involves the whole population (parents, instructors, educators). As this is a never-ending task, he believes that “we have to be committed to it so that our children can benefit from it in the way we intended. We need to be committed to the development of our children, our fathers and Cameroon”.

Rebuilding values✅
The strategic vision, as expressed by MOUNOUNA FOUTSOU in his closing remarks, would like to make PRONEC-REAMORCE an instrument for rebuilding values.
“Laws are not enough to change mentalities. This change is first in the heart. I have instructed that all the recommendations already included in our roadmap be implemented without delay. I hope that everyone can play their part by becoming a builder of peace and an instrument of values by multiplying tangible actions that promote peace. “
The civic minute focuses on prayer.
The audience raised their voices and their eyes to Almighty God, so that the elements of this Symposium may bear good fruit.
